The Nordic Council of Ministers has release a new issue of their web magazine, "Green Growth the Nordic Way", looking at different paths to realize this new economy and a more sustainable society, with a specific focus on circular economy and cultural affairs.

The concept of a new circular economy was the theme of the EUs biggest event in the environment sector, Green Week in Brussels, which took place in the beginning of June.

In one of the two feature articles in the latest issue of "Green Growth the Nordic Way, you can read about the activities of the Nordic Council of Ministers' within the areas of waste management and sustainable building as presented at Green Week. A number of new reports also explore the Nordic potential in this field.

But sustainable development is not just about economy and environmental affairs. Culture and education play an important role on the path to a sustainable society.

The second feature article in this issue thus describes a number of activities within the field of cultural affairs with the explicit aim of strengthening the sustainability agenda. A holistic approach is part of the Nordic Way and the NCM will keep exploring these different paths to a more sustainable society.
