On 1 March 2018 (3:00 - 4:30 PM CET), the New York Declaration on Forests (NYDF) Global Platform is holding a webinar on "Engaging with the Global Platform of the New York Declaration on Forests".
The New York Declaration on Forests (NYDF) is the first multi-stakeholder commitment to eliminate natural forest loss by 2030 and achieve global forest protection and restoration goals. The NYDF Global Platform provides a central coordination mechanism to increase political ambition, accelerate action, forge new partnerships, and monitor progress towards the ten ambitious goals of the NYDF.
The webinar will include an overview of the vision and goals of the Platform, an opportunity to contribute to the developing 2018 work plan, and a discussion about how the platform can serve as a catalyst to accelerate progress to meet the 10 goals of the Declaration.
