Climate Technology Centre and Network Webinar - Bioenergy and Carbon Capture and Storage: Delivering negative emissions with bioenergy, biofuels, and waste-to-energy

On 19 March 2020 at 10:00 - 11:00am (CET), the Climate Technology Centre and Network is hosting a webinar on "Bioenergy and Carbon Capture and Storage: Delivering negative emissions with bioenergy, biofuels, and waste-to-energy". 

The webinar will provide an overview of Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) as a negative emission technology and attendees will learn about a wide range of aspects of BECCS, including:

• Its role in achieving the goal of the Paris Agreement,
• Different types of BECCS technologies, including waste-to-energy,
• An overview of the deployment of BECCS technologies and projects,
• The costs of BECCS technologies, and
• An outlook on and the potential of BECCS.
