On 14 April 2020 at 20:00 (CEST), CEPS is hosting a webinar on "COVID-19 Shutdown: What recovery to expect?".
The webinar will explore the kinds of recovery we can expect from the COVID-19 shutdown based on historical precedents. With input from American economist Barry Eichengreen and CEPS Director Daniel Gros, it will expand on the Great Depression to the 2008 financial crisis and consider how economic policy can shape the outcome of such economic downturns.
