This Green Economy Guidelines (GEG) Manual provides a checklist for businesses to address areas of procurement, operations and supply chain management in order to minimize impact on the environment. The development of these guidelines included consultations with ministries and government agencies, business associations, local bodies, international agencies and the Iskandar Regional Development Authority's own business teams.
The goal of the GEG manual is to help businesses and industries to study, evaluate, adopt and inculcate environmentally sustainable economic behavior leading to building a prosperous, resilient, robust and globally competitive green economy in Iskandar. This particular manual focuses on the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
