Thank you for your interest in joining the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) platforms.
The GGKP was established in January 2012 and has grown to become the largest global network of experts and organizations dedicated to generating, managing, and sharing green growth knowledge.
The GGKP's three knowledge platforms – the policy-focused Green Growth Knowledge Platform, the Green Industry Platform, and the Green Finance Platform – offer quick and easy access to the latest research, case studies, toolkits, learning products, principles, and protocols to empower the policy, business, and finance communities with the knowledge, guidance, data, and tools necessary to transition to an inclusive green economy.
Under the leadership of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Bank, our partnership has grown to include a wide range of the world's leading organizations working towards green growth.
As an open and neutral platform, we are eager to add new partners to the platforms.
Joining the GGKP platforms as a Knowledge Partner entails no financial or legal commitment. Rather, it affords the opportunity to have your organisation's work featured on the platforms. Additionally, as a Knowledge Partner, your organizations' staff will have the opportunity to join GGKP's Working Groups. You can download and read the GGKP Knowledge Partnership Framework and Working Groups Terms of Reference, which are linked at the bottom of this page.
If your organization is interested in becoming a Knowledge Partner in one or all of the platforms, GGKP requests that you submit an expression of interest. This letter should include:
The expression of interest should take the form of an official letter, addressed to me, Mr. Benjamin Simmons, Head of the GGKP Secretariat. It should be signed by your head of organization or an authorized signer. Please find links to example expression of interest letters below.
The letter will then be reviewed by the GGKP Steering Committee, which is made up of senior representatives from GGGI, OECD, UN Environment, UNIDO, and the World Bank. We will inform you of their decision through a formal reply letter.
I'm very pleased to get connected. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact Ben Smith, Senior Knowledge Management Officer. We will be happy to find a time to speak with you about the Knowledge Partner process.
Best regards,
Benjamin Simmons
