The Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) has launched a new website to support knowledge transfer around the project, "Green Growth and Win-Win Strategies for Sustainable Climate Action –GREEN-WIN".

The GREEN-WIN project is a major international transdisciplinary research collaboration applying a solution-oriented approach targeted at increasing the understanding of links between climate action and sustainability and overcoming implementation barriers through win-win strategies. It aims to produce evidence-based policy packages to enable green growth, focusing on three thematic areas: coastal flood risk management, urban transformation and energy poverty eradication.

The work within the project is organized into eight Work Packages (WPs), and draws together a global transdisciplinary team of research institutes, think tanks, international and civil society organisations, finance institutions, networks, and private businesses to draw useful insights from their collaborative research. The project is funded by the European Commission as a part of Horizon 2020 and will run until August 2018.

The newly launched website, to be managed by the GGKP, serves as an open-knowledge system to support interactions among researchers and sharing of research outcome generated throughout the GREEN-WIN project. Through the website, users will be able to access shared project documents, event announcements, research results and key outcomes. In addition, the website will host a blog where individual experts from across the project’s 16 partner organisations will share their latest thinking, including around research plans, project results and upcoming events. Furthermore, throughout the project, the GGKP will host a number of webinars to seek feedback, present results and debate next steps, helping to ensure the project’s results reach a broad range of multi- stakeholder groups.
