The Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) is pleased to welcome the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a new member of the GGKP’s Steering Committee.

Three papers presented at the "Green Transformation and Competitive Advantage Conference" have been recognized for their outstanding policy relevance. The conference was jointly held by the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP), the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), and the German Corporation for International Cooperation / Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in June 2018.

On 22 March 2018, the Metrics & Data sub-group of the GGKP Expert Working Group on Natural Capital held a workshop at the 2018 Natural Capital Symposium, which took place from 19-22 March 2018 at Stanford University.

The Sixth GGKP Annual Conference will be hosted by the OECD on the theme of “Inclusive Solutions for the Green Transition: Competitiveness, jobs and social dimensions” on 27-29 November 2018. The GGKP and founding partners call for paper contributions on aspects of the political economy of the green transition, particularly the competitiveness impacts and distributional consequences of environmental policies, employment implications, green industrial policy, sectoral/structural transition management and more.

A new working paper from the GGKP Working Group on Behavioural Insights outlines steps that decision makers can take to ensure effective planning of behavioural interventions for green growth and presents case studies on initiatives that aim to achieve behaviour change in sustainable consumption and resource use.
