Which is why we created a Green Learning Network (GLN) dedicated to improving and upscaling green economy learning through knowledge management and peer-to-peer exchange and collaboration. Launched by the GGKP and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) with support from the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE), the GLN aims to build a critical mass of professionals that understand the risks and opportunities of a green transition by improving existing education and training opportunities and facilitating the creation of new courses, programmes and learning resources .
Uniquely tailored to education and training institutions, professionals, and students, the Green Learning Network includes both a library of resources and a community of practice.
The community of practice is an online networking space where learning practitioners can exchange information and resources, seek advice on learning products, and announce news and events. The community of practice is in a pilot phase of development. To register, visit www.thegreenforum.org, or contact us by email at gln@unitar.org.
The goal of the GLN is to inform, inspire, and innovate while facilitating partnerships and collaboration around green learning. Join us and together we can improve education and training opportunities and achieve the critical mass of knowledge and skills needed to advance green economy policies and actions.
