Xavier Espinet
Transport Specialist
Xavier Espinet is a transport specialist for the Chief Economist for Sustainable Development at the World Bank. He is assisting the development of support systems that facilitate decision making of transport investments under uncertainty associated with climate. He is particularly interested in promoting green growth through resilient transport infrastructure systems. Prior to the World Bank, he co-founded Resilient Analytics serving as a Technical Lead, and worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Climate and Civil Systems. Xavier Espinet holds an engineering degree from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and a PhD in civil systems from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
