Ulf Narloch is an Economist in the Sustainable Development's Chief Economist Office at the World Bank. His current work includes sustainability measurement and diagnostics, green growth policies and the poverty impacts of climate change.
Prior to joining the World Bank he worked on range of topics related to forest management, biodiversity conservation, food security and rural livelihoods for the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC), Bioversity International, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW).
He holds a PhD in Land Economy, a MPhil in Environmental Policy, both from Cambridge University (United Kingdom), and a M.A. in International Economics from University of Goettingen (Germany).
