Scott is a graduate of the Queens School of Policy Studies with a keen interest in sustainability issues facing the land-use, agri-food and energy sectors. Before joining Smart Prosperity Institute, Scott worked as a consultant for the World Agroforestry Centre and as a Research Associate for the International Institute for Sustainable Development, respectively. Recent research includes an assessment of the economic value of ecosystem goods and services from three multifunctional agroforestry systems in sub-Saharan Africa, and on the supply and demand-sides of the global market for eco-labelled seafood products. In his spare time, Scott enjoys hiking, cooking, checking out repertory cinema, and burying his nose in books about philosophy, politics, psychology and economics.
