Sara Castro

Sara is focused on research and capacity development for changing mindsets and behaviors to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She also focuses on public administration systems and evidence-based public governance to localise the 2030 Agenda. Sara previously worked with UN Environment on public governance for the SDGs and sustainable consumption and production patterns (SDG12). She also worked as a local development specialist at UNITAR, focusing on training programmes to strengthen national to local governance. Sara has an M.A. in International Development from Erasmus University of Rotterdam’s ISS and B.A. in Economics from George Washington University.
