Alexandra has studied economics, political science and romance languages (Spanish/Portuguese) in Cologne, Germany and Buenos Aires, Argentina. After writing her diploma thesis at SAP - identify potential for public-private cooperation to make use of information and communication technologies for development - she started working in development cooperation. Specializing on private sector development, her main areas of expertise and interest are business environment reform, green and inclusive business models, entrepreneurship promotion, sustainable investment and cooperation with the private sector.  As advisor to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development she has gained experience in international processes, such as G20, Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation, Agenda 2030 and others. So far she has lived (and worked) in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Georgia and Cyprus. Since 2016 she is co-chairing the DCED Green Growth Working Group.
