Nigeria Climate Innovation Center

Established on August 3rd 2018 by the World Bank and Government of Nigeria through The Office of The Vice President of Nigeria, the Nigeria Climate Innovation Center is the Nigerian arm of the Climate Innovation Center (CIC) network that provides holistic, country-driven support to accelerate the development, deployment and transfer of locally relevant climate solutions and clean energy technologies.

NCIC’s chief aim is the growth and sustenance of the Nigerian Green Economy via incubation & acceleration of climate technologies and innovations while providing entrepreneurial support, access to finance, innovation ecosystem development, enterprise building and policy formulation & review. At the moment, the NCIC has four major areas of interest; Water Management, Smart Agriculture, Waste Management and Renewable Energy.
