This report, Low Carbon Development Options for Indonesia: Status report and findings, produced by the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia in collaboration with the World Bank, puts forward a series of economic development options for Indonesia that will help in the transition to a green economy. The phase 1 report recognises that sound environmental management, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and economic efficiency and growth are compatible goals. This part of the study investigated the greenhouse gas emissions of the country as well as the economic policy instruments available for addressing climate change mitigation and adaption in Indonesia.
