The Sustainable Development Goals Help Desk is an online portal that consolidates knowledge products, opportunities, and services connecting users to different platforms focusing on areas related to the implementation of SDGs and Agenda 2030. It serves as a gateway to promote South-South cooperation, sharing of experiences across countries and regions through best practices and peer-learning opportunities covering a multitude of topics boosting partnerships. In addition, the service lines provide easy access to knowledge centres, data portals, technical support and toolboxes.
Established through the partnership between United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN ESCWA) and the Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) the key objectives of this one-stop online service include:
- Strengthening and sharing knowledge
- Facilitating the exchange of information
- Capacity building for the localization of SDGs in national planning
- Building a broad network of platforms and organizations.
