The ICAT Series of Guidance is designed with countries’ needs in mind with a focus on guidance for the assessment of the GHG reduction, sustainable development and transformational change impacts of policies and actions. The guidance can also help inform policy and action design.
The core guidance is supported by complementary guidance on engaging stakeholders and undertaking review or verification of policy and action impacts.
ICAT guidance follows a modular structure so that countries can choose which guidance and tools to use based on their needs.
The May 2018 version of the series of guidance is now available. Select any guidance component below to learn more. The Initiative recommends starting with the Introductory Guide.
