On 12 February 2019 (10:30 - 11:30 AM CET), The Climate Group's EV100 initiative is hosting a webinar on "EV100 Webinar: How to achieve zero emission deliveries - learnings from Ingka Group (IKEA Group)."
As cities expand zero emission zones to improve air quality, it becomes increasingly difficult for polluting vehicles to access city centres. For EV100 member Ingka Group (formerly IKEA Group), this poses a vital business question; if you can’t access customers in city centres, how will you deliver products to their door?
Future-proofing city operations is just one of the reasons why Ingka Group set a target for zero emission home delivery in the inner city areas of Amsterdam, Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Shanghai by 2020. They’re powering ahead on the transformation and just announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the goal has been achieved in Shanghai, one year ahead of schedule.
In this webinar, Ingka Group will present its vision for sustainable mobility, exploring the key success factors and challenges involved in their Shanghai transformation – as well as an outlook on what is coming next.
- Angela Hultberg, Head of Sustainable Mobility, Ingka Group
- Ken Zhong, Service Fulfilment Operations Manager China, Ingka Group
- Sandra Roling, Head of EV100, The Climate Group
