The second GGKP Annual Conference was held in Paris, France, from 4-5 April 2013. All research related to the conference can be downloaded under the Papers & Presentations tab.
The Conference discussions were framed around the following two headline themes: (i) greening global value chains and (ii) measurement and reporting for green growth.
The conference brought together private sector representatives and policymakers to promote a dialogue around these issues with a view to identifying the policy measures and tools that governments can adopt to ensure that the economic benefits of green growth are spread throughout the global economy and contribute to the achievement of countries' development objectives.
The identified themes are linked to – and build on – the first set of research priorities that emerged from the inaugural GGKP conference in January 2012. The conference drew upon the work that is planned or already underway as part of the GGKP's first Research Programs on green growth and: (i) innovation, (ii) trade and competitiveness, and (iii) indicators and measurement tools.
