On 21-22 May 2018, the Alliance to Save Energy and the Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency are hosting Energy Efficiency Global Forum 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Over the last decade, Energy Efficiency Global Forum (EE Global has established itself as the energy efficiency elite’s gathering place – the one event that draws together business executives, government leaders and advocates from across sectors and continents for actionable dialogues on advancing energy efficiency. From Washington, D.C. to Brussels, Belgium, the Forum has spurred public-private partnerships, generated investment in efficiency and delivered a lasting global impact.
Our 400+ attendees are decision-makers, with 80% self-identifying as Director-level or above. They represent all sectors and disciplines, and hail from nearly 30 countries. This year, EE Global will highlight energy efficiency on the international stage as part of Nordic Energy Clean Week – a week-long global celebration promoting clean energy and efficiency through various events and forums. This year’s event will also highlight how to speed transfer of leading energy efficiency practices to the cities and countries of the developing world, so that uptake is accelerated towards the Sustainable Development Goals. Nordic Clean Energy Week will culminate with the ninth Clean Energy Ministerial, which will convene premier energy leaders from more than 24 nations for discussions on Energy Integration and Transition: towards a competitive and innovative low carbon economy. It is critical that efficiency is recognized as an important key to this transition, and EE Global will be poised to ignite the efficiency discussions that will continue throughout the week.
