Climate-smart agriculture (CSA) is an approach for transforming agriculture and meeting the world’s food security needs under the new realities of climate change. CSA aims to secure a triple win of increased productivity, greater resilience and reduced GHG emissions.

The publication Climate Smart Agriculture: Successes from Africa highlights successful CSA projects in Africa. These projects are implemented by the World Bank and partner organizations. The World Bank is working to scale up adoption of CSA technologies and practices in Africa through the Africa Climate Business Plan.
